Honoring Mike West

Captain Mike West, former skipper of the Tiki Too, and my brother, passed away last evening. He was also, at various times, skipper of the Buccaneer, Sea Wolf, Sea Prowler and Guardian. He was a family man, lifelong Sea Scout, tug boat captain and 4-wheel drive / outdoors enthusiast. He was a tow truck operator that had created 3 thriving companies. He was a fun-loving adventurer with a dry sense of humor that attacked every challenge with the presumption that the problem could be solved through planning, hard work and just getting started. We are thankful for his dedication to young people and for our time with him.
