Napa Mini Regatta

🇺🇸 On Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2023, the SSS Tiki Too and SSS Shasta Kraken were thankful for the opportunity to participate in the Napa Mini Regatta at the SSS Chaser’s base in Napa, CA. It was a beautiful, sunny day and Sea Scouts from throughout Northern California practiced rope climb, boatswain’s chair, heaving line, knots, compass, piloting, marlinespike, scuttlebutt, and breeches buoy together. Both Shasta Kraken and Tiki Too have a number of new girls, and this was a great introduction to regattas for them. Thank you to the SSS Chaser for hosting, and the leaders from various ships for helping with training. We also express our appreciation for the United States Military Veterans who have served and serve today protecting our freedom. 🇺🇸
