Passing the Handle
Skipper Kelly Llindblom and Mate Julio Angulo were both Sea Scouts as teenagers and have volunteered supporting Liberty Maritime Museum and the SSS Tiki Too since becoming adults. Skipper Kelly became a member of the SSS Tiki Too under the leadership of Skipper Jim West in 2000. Mr. Julio started Sea Scouts in 1996 on the SSS Northland, and later joined Liberty Maritime (when he and Kelly got married!). With three daughters together, Kelly and Julio have decided it’s time to raise the next generation of Sea Scouters. In wakeboarding, we call it “passing the handle”.

Our Focus Areas
We primarily operate small boats on our local lakes, including power boats, small and medium sized sailboats, and row boats.
We are also very grateful to be able to crew Liberty Maritime’s big boats on the Bay and Delta a few times each year.
Our program is training intensive, using the Sea Scout advancement program as a guide. We also perform our own boat maintenance and fundraising.
